Merge pull request #2022 from LinusU/move-to-npm

Move to npm and update lock-file.

Fixes #2019

* Switch from using yarn to npm on Travis & Appveyor
* Remove the yarn.lock file, and update the package-lock.json file
* Move snyk and doctoc from dependencies to devDependencies (closes #2020 & closes #2021)
* Put dependencies on top of devDependencies in the package.json file (this is the most common style I've seen, I think it makes it easier to read the diffs when moving packages from one section to the other)
* Fix linting errors in readme.md
* Replace yarn with npm as primary installation method
