Don't use Rails ujs for request form submission.
Replace rails ujs with custom fetch
Create a custom ajax implementation. Ensure csrf tokens are
included in all requests
Improve parsing - clean JSON API response -
and display of both validation errors and system errors
Flash messages appear in the bootstrap flash container
Add debouncing to prevent rapid submissions
Separation of concerns - server handles business logic
client handles UI
